Vuckic has still got a big future at Newcastle United – despite Alan Pardew’s keenness to farm him out.
He travelled to a "Football League club" over the weekend to discuss a loan, no names given, but there are a number of clubs interested in him on loan terms including Derby County and Ipswich Town.
Pardew feels Vuckic needs six months of regular football so he can return and challenge for a Premier League place.
Aan Pardew: “Really and truly the jump between playing in the Premier League without playing games is too big.
“But he’s a young player, and he’s got time. That’s where he is.”
