Villa Fans - The Sad Side Of Football!

Sadly ... a dozen (or so) away fans have dragged the club into the gutter after arrests were made at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

They caused mayhem by singing offensive chants about Brazilian-born Croatian broken leg victim Eduardo.

Arsenal striker Eduardo suffered a compond fracture of his fibula and a dislocated angle, ironically against Villa rivals Birmingham City.

As Arsenal supporters unveiled a 'get well soon' banner for the stands suggesting the Gunners would win the Champions League for the injured player, a section of the away supporters vocally compared Eduardo to amputee Heather Mills.

The Sunday Telegraph: "The chants prompted a furious response from a handful of home fans next to the visitors' enclosure and stewards were forced to make several ejections."

Arsene Wenger: "Unfortunately there are no limits to either intelligence or stupidity."

Martin O'Neill, described the chanting as "disappointing."
