The controversial Newcastle outcast is given another chance on the Golden Mile.

The rookie striker, who was quizzed by club officials after posing for a picture holding a replica gun, has been told he can leave St James' Park if they receive a bid of around £750,000 this summer.

Ranger has scored just twice in 49 appearances and his two-year spell at the club is coming to an end.

The striker wants to leave the club and Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is interested in him and Ranger, 20, is expected to finalise a deal at Bloomfield Road.
