Speed was booked for dissent after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s goal, with the referee choosing to punish backchat but not a clear foul by the Norwegian (who’d already been booked and should have been walking back to the changing rooms rather than scoring).
The Welshman will miss the clash with Aston Villa on December 7. Steve Staunton will also be absent for Villa after picking up his fifth caution of the season against West Ham.
