The Spanish Cup winners were the team Sir Bobby must have been hoping for given the three other possibilities, but even so he knows they represent a considerable step up in quality from the three teams we have faced so far.
"It's a satisfying fourth round draw,” he admitted.
"We have missed the really big guns in Barcelona and Valencia but, having worked in Spain for two years, I know how tough and competitive their league is.
"Mallorca have some excellent players and in Samuel Eto'o possess one of the best strikers in Europe.
"It's interesting to see what the rest of the draw looks like, but as professionals, we never look beyond the next game."
