Simpson Cannot Get Better Wages Elsewhere

There could still be a future for Danny Simpson at Newcastle because no club is willing to go higher than £25,000 per week in wages.
The 25-year-old and the Magpies have been at loggerheads over a new deal for the last 12 months, and Simpson rejected their latest offer at the end of last season.
The problem is - Alan Pardew is going to sign a new right-back this summer and Simpson will be demoted to the bench - so Mike Ashley will not go above £25k for a squad player.
Simpson believes he is worth more ... but he seems to be the only one.
West Ham, Fulham and QPR are all reportedly interested in him, but only on his current wage.
Pardew remains optimistic about a deal.
Alan Pardew: "He's got a year left on his deal.
"He turned down a new contract and that's where we are.
"Danny could play the whole season next year. We'll have to see."
