Rangers Shake Up Could See Cuellar Heading To Toon!

The Daily Record is claiming that Sir David Murray has ordered a clearout after the Huns crashed out of the Champions League with the worst performance by a British club in decades.

The defeat to Kaunas saw Rangers, last seasons UEFA Cup runners-up, crash out of Europe completely with the defeat costing the club in excess of £10m.

The newspapers suggest Kris Boyd, Daniel Cousin, Alan Gow, Andy Webster and Chris Burke, Christian Dailly, David Weir, Jean Claude Darcheville and Brahim Hemdani are all under the spotlight and for sale.

But the big name, Carlos Cuellur, is the player that could command the most substantial transfer fee, and Newcastle have tracked him since Kevin Keegan returned to Newcastle in January.

No blame can be put on Cuellur's door for the defeat on Tuesday, as he sat out the fixture with an injury.

Although Rangers insist the Spanish defender is not for sale, a substantial cash offer would not be snubbed.
