The Edinburgh Evening News claims that we have also signed goalkeeper Tony Caig from Hibs on a free transfer for the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old former Carlisle and Charlton keeper comes in as cover during Steve Harper’s suspension and will be given the rest of the season to earn a long-term contract, as John Karelse’s replacement.
Karelse is out of contract at the end of the season and is set to return to Holland with PSV Eindhoven in the summer.
No official confirmation from either club yet, but Hibs boss Bobby Williamson has said the deal has gone through.
