Juventus try to unsettle Toon star

You don't get gurning like that in Turin
The Turin club has been using the classic tactic of talking up our team and claiming to be interested in signing one of our boys.

The target this time is Kieron Dyer, who was outstanding alongside Alan Shearer in Turin, but the perpetrator is more surprising.

Alessandro Del Piero is the man publicly praising Dyer and in doing so putting the pressure on him in the build up to the must win clash. As we saw in Turin Del Piero has absolutely no need to resort to gamesmanship to win games for Juventus, although he might want to consider more of it next time Italy play Wales!

Del Piero said: "I think Dyer is the sort of player who would do well in Serie A and I would love Juventus to sign him.

"I would hope our coach would secure his talent - for his attributes of pace, strength, vision and touch are those of a champion.

"He would cost a lot but would bring something different to us.''

Lets hope Kieron can put the Juve star in his place on Wednesday night.
