Griffin fit to face Feyenoord

The full back had been our only injury doubt and it Sir Bobby now looks set to select the same starting eleven as at Highbury last Saturday.

Griffin himself was pleased to hear the news, commenting: "I haven't come all this way in the past couple of months to miss the game with a chest infection and I'll be out there tomorrow."

He was also in optimistic mood about our chances of progressing to the second phase, adding: "I'm still banking on staying in the Champions' League and why not? Juventus are a quality side and even though they are fielding a weakened team in Kiev the side they are turning out would still do very well in the Premiership.

"But even if things don't work out for us I believe we can still hold our heads high. The last two games in the Champions' League have given us our pride back. We didn't have Lady Luck on our side in our first three matches in the competition but the desire and determination have always been there."
