Fat Fred Hits Out At Pub Visit With "200 Family And Friends"

Freddy Shepherd hits out at our local newspaper, and they offer an opology: "In The Journal's Sidelines column yesterday, a report was published concerning Newcastle United chairman Freddie Shepherd and the club's involvement in the television production, The Match.
"We have been asked to point out that Mr Shepherd encountered no problem gaining entry to the club's own training ground because of security measures put in place by the production company.
"We have also been asked to make it clear he did not attend Shearer's Bar "with an entourage of 200 family and friends" after the game.
"We are happy to do this.
"We would like to apologise to Mr Shepherd for any embarrassment caused."
