Emre Will Be Fit To Play For Turkey ... As Usual!

Keegan revealed he tried to sign Emre when he was boss of Manchester City, but the player's "niggling injuries" (for want of a better word) have cast a doubt over the player's commitment, and the 27-year-old will be in the shop window during Euro 2008.

No-one can doubt his ability ... but the midfielder has the heart of a pea ... and although he has hardly been available for the Magpies because of injury this season, he has been available for every Euro 2008 qualifier Turkey have played.

Need we say more?

He has one year left on his contract and will most likely be sacrificed to raise funds to buy another play-maker this summer.

So Keegan will be hoping Emre has a glorious Euro 2008 ... so Newcastle can cash in on the little waster.

He has not played a first-team game since February but he remains an integral part of his national side and played an important role in getting Turkey to the European Championship finals in Austria and Switzerland.
