Emre has made it plain he is unsettled on Tyneside and would like a move away from the club, saying he would like to return to Turkey.
But Italian clubs are now on the case, and although Udinese are said to be eyeing the Newcastle United midfielder, don't rule out a return to Inter.
Galatasaray have already said they would gladly take him, and Emre says he would be happy to go. But his wages could be a stumbling block.
The Turkish club certainly could not match what Newcastle are paying him (for doing bugger all) at the moment, but Inter could.
It looks like we have another Albert Luque situation, of a player who is never off the treatment table, but the medical team cannot find anything wrong. And Sam seems to have lost patience with him.
