Duff, of Tranwell Woods, Morpeth, was then ordered to appear before magistrates, but failed to attend Tynedale Magistrates' Court, in Hexham.
In his absence he was convicted of failing to supply information to the chief officer of police, given a £100 fine, received three penalty points and also ordered to pay costs of £60.
