Bond Did Not Put The Mockers On Vokes Move To Toon!

Krasner also revealed manager (and ex-Toon coach) Kevin Bond was "not party" to the process, adding: "He was told I was going to do it and that's the end of it."

Some considered the fact Bond had a legal issue with Newcastle over his controvercial sacking due to the infamous 'Panorama' BBC TV programme that "opened the lid on dodgy dealings".

Bond's name was mentioned, along with Sam Allardyce, Harry Redknapp and Graeme Souness ... but only Newcastle acted on it.

Freddy Shepherd sacked Bond while Pompey stuck with Redknapp and Bolton backed Allardyce.

Bond took Newcastle to court.

Krasner admits the sale of star striker Sam Vokes to Wolves "was necessary".

The 18-year-old, called into the full Wales squad for the first time on Monday for the friendlies against Iceland and Holland, scored 12 goals this season but could not prevent the Cherries from being relegated to League Two.

Vokes has signed a four-year deal with the Championship club, who missed out on a play-off place to Watford on goal difference, and joined for an undisclosed fee.

Krasner told the Daily Echo: "We wish him well in his future career and I'm sure the supporters will understand on this that action had to be taken.

"It was done because it had to be done. My objective is to make sure next season there's a team playing football at Bournemouth. In order to keep things going it was necessary."
