The gesture might seem petty (although frankly he’s right – ask Wolves owner Jack Hayward) but for Wolves fans to complain about it is pathetic after the stick they gave Bellamy all afternoon.
When Bellamy at Norwich he was the victim of a horror tackle by Wolves (now Rangers) Australian thug Kevin Muscat and he was taunted about it all game.
So whilst I would normally disapprove of such actions it was certainly understandable, and come the end of the season he’ll still be able to point out to Wolves followers that they’re still in Division One.
