"Newcastle owner Mike Ashley's hopes of selling the club suffered a fresh blow today when new figures confirmed that his troubled Tyneside club is haemorrhaging supporters faster than any other club in the Premier League."

According to statistics, Newcastle's average attendance this season has dipped to 46,489 in the seven home games at St James' Park, compared to last term's 51,321, which is bound to be viewed with some concern by prospective buyers of the club.

How the hell can Ashley be "concerned" when he ... and his family, directors, and hangers-on ... have deserted St James' Park!

Why ask questions of fans, when the fans should be asking questions of him!

An average fall of 4,632 supporters which can be put down to the fans' fury at Ashley!

The money-grabber has had enough, and the fans have had enough of him.

For the first time since the Premier League was launched, fans have been able to buy tickets for Premiership games, and obviously many would rather save their dosh.

Before the Mackems jump on the bandwagon slagging us off ... Sunderland is faring little better as fans turn on the moody Roy Keane.

Their average attendance this season is 41,186 compared to 43,344 last term which represents a decline of 2,158 supporters per match.

The three clubs bucking the trend the most are Bolton whose average gate has risen from 20, 901 to 22,608, Middlesbrough 26,708 to 27,769 and Manchester City 42,126 to 43,000.
