Blackburn have been fined and warned as to their future conduct by the Football Association for 'failing to control their players' against Newcastle in March.

The incident in question involved both sides' reaction to a scuffle between Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen and Newcastle full-back Habib Beye, who were both booked after tangling over a throw-in.

Beye was allegedly "cleaning the ball" ... it's a Senegal thing ... they do it all the time over there ... and Pedersen felt the need to continue with the game.

Rovers were found guilty of 'failing to ensure that their players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion' at a regulatory commission hearing.
