Reports today have linked Kieron Dyer with a move to Saturdays conquerors Aston Villa. The Midlands team had reportably bid £5.5 million for Owen Hargreaves but weren’t able to agree terms and are thought to be willing to pay the £6 million they had bid for James Beattie for Dyer. But Villa boss David O’Leary has poured cold water over any moves for the player, he has stated;
"It is lovely to be linked with players like that but I do not think he will be coming to Aston Villa.
"I don't think there's anything happening before the deadline."
Shame really.
