The 21-year-old, on loan at Dundee United, suffered a hip injury while on international duty with Australia early last month.
And time is running out for the 21-year-old to prove his fitness ahead of the final against St Johnstone at Celtic Park on May 17.
Dundee United manager Jackie McNamara said: “We’ll see how it goes, but time is running out.”
