Newcastle United have announced that Sven Botman has signed a new long-term contract extending to 2030.
The Dutchman, who has been instrumental in the Magpies' rise to the Champions League spots, was previously a target for several European giants.
"This is home for me," Botman said in a club statement this morning.
The deal includes a significant wage increase and, crucially, removes any lingering speculation regarding a summer exit, providing Eddie Howe with much-needed stability as he manages a busy domestic and European schedule.
