Newcastle risk buying new players despite not knowing who will be in charge next term with Shearer refusing to fully commit himself permanently to the post while question marks remain over Joe Kinnear's future plans.Talking to the media yesterday Shearer always refered to Newcastle as "they", keeping his distance from any more speculation of him taking over the job from Kinnear.
