"It was great to see him back in training for the first time. We hope he'll be back in the team soon.
"We need everybody because it's a long month and we don't have easy matches. We've got some big games coming over the Christmas period.
"There are some tough games and we want everybody available. It won't be easy this month.
"Newcastle is a massive club and the expectations are high.
"The fans are everywhere in the city and you know you have to deliver for them, which is what we are trying to do."
