McCoist Wants Defender To Snub The Toon!

The 23-year-old right-back has been outstanding for Rangers and Scotland this season and Sam Allardyce and Tottenham have been tracking his progress.

Manchester United and Lazio are the latest to be interested.

McCoist: "But I'd like him to stay here for a long time and win things with Rangers.

"We don't want to lose players of his quality.

"I have no doubt Alan is destined for great things in his career, but I believe those great things can be with Rangers.

"He is still young and has a bit to learn and, with a bit of luck, he can learn at our place over the next few years."
