Newcastle's Premiership encounter with Charlton Athletic on Wednesday night was postponed due to frost and heavy snow, despite undersoil heating at St James' Park.
The game fell victim to the wintry weather on Tyneside and was called off at around 7:30, despite a pitch inspection at 6:30 when the pitch was passed fit for play.
Both the matches involving Sunderland and Middlesbrough were also called off.
