The poor-man’s porn mag claims that Sir Bobby has made a £10million bid for Southampton’s prolific striker James Beattie.
It further claims that the bid has been turned down but that a £12million bid would force the forward’s sale.
Probably nothing in it at all, but the thought of Beattie reproducing this season’s form in a black and white shirt next season is an appealing one.
