Dabizas too expensive for Potters

Potters boss Tony Pulis is reported to have been offered Dabizas after he failed with a bid for Steve Caldwell, and was keen to push the deal through until his directors discovered how much it would cost them.

"We were hoping to get Dabizas, but he cost too much," Pulis told the Stoke Sentinel.

"And from the size of his wages, I can understand that. The directors are the ones who pay the bills and I have no complaints."
