Ronaldinho has apparently now claimed that he wants to sign for the Red Devils, presumably because Real Madrid no longer want him, although Paris Saint-Germain have now said that the only bids they have received for the player are from Chelsea and Barcelona. This does though contradict an earlier statement when the French club’s president claimed to have turned down a bid from Manchester United.
Meanwhile Atletico Paranaense are reported to have reached an agreement giving Manchester United first option to sign midfielder Kleberson and claim that the transfer will be completed next week.
Another rumoured transfer target, Bordeaux’s Russian midfielder Alexei Smertin is now reported to be subject of a bid from Chelsea - as he’s Roman Abramovitch’s favourite player!
