Man United have traditionally done very well in this competition but the Old Trafford production line has dried up a bit in the last couple of years, so the visit of Brian McClair’s side is little to fear.
Kenny Wharton and Peter Beardsley have done a great job with the Academy Under-19s team and they currently lie second in the FA Premier Academy League, so they will be hoping to mount a strong challenge for the cup.
