An e-mail to NU-Mad:
Was wondering if you could give us a bit of a push in the right direction.

My wife was made an admin for the F*&@ Mike Ashley group on Facebook. Despite its name, it is more than just a place for people to let off steam. We were talking the other day and decided it was time to bring the FA in to the situation. If you love NUFC as much as we do, please let people know how to get the FA to pay attention.

At the source there are three main contentions.

1- Ashley is bringing football into disrepute

2- He is almost assuredly violating one kind or another transfer policy

3- He is going above and beyond the call of duty to destroy any value left in the club.

4- The alleged offers for the club seem to come and go with amazing regularity, depending on how close he seems to getting a higher offer.

We want the FA to step in to

1- Get us a manager
2- Let him do some transfers
3- Organise the season as it''s essentially upon us.

4- GET A REALISTIC ASSESSMENT OF THE OFFERS AND GET HIM TO PICK ONE AND LEAVE.

We are asking people to address letters and phone calls to the FA, with the following text.

"The time has come; Boycotting Sports Direct and cursing Ashley''s name are no longer good enough. We must proceed in a dignified orderly fashion and submit our complaints to the FA to step in. Without the intervention of a higher authority I fear this could spell doom for Newcastle.  Please I am begging each and every one of you to write a clear eloquent strongly worded letter to the FA asking them to step in before Newcastle is turned into the next Leeds.
