With Tony Jimenez set to swap Newcastle's problems for Spurs circus - talk at White Hart Lane is all whispers.

The day out could purely have been a meeting of old friends as Poyet and Wise are former team-mates who worked together at Swindon and Leeds.

And Milton Keynes Dons are now managed by their former Chelsea team-mate Roberto Di Matteo.

But with the current troubles at Spurs and Newcastle,  the sight of Wise, one of the four remaining members of Newcastle's 'Cockney Mafia', spending the day with Poyet is likely to unsettle supporters from both sides.
