Tehran-born Dejagah has emerged as a possible target after impressing executive director (football) Dennis Wise for his country against France's Under-21s a fortnight ago.

Wise has been allegedly been told by Mike Ashley to draw up a list of possible targets for January's transfer window and beyond.
Although ... hopefully ... Ashley will be gone by January, Joe Kinnear hinted last week he hoped the owner would shelve his plans to sell the club.
Whether that was a hint that Kinnear knows something we don't, I cannot say.
Kinnear: "While we don't know what is happening long-term at this football club, Dennis and myself are drawing up a hit list of players we could want in the January transfer window."
Wise travelled to Metz to watch 19-year-old Nice winger Loic Remy last month, but left the stadium impressed with 22-year-old Dejagah.
