Friday morning has brought confirmation that Newcastle v Watford won’t be live on TV ... if it takes place at all!
If Newcastle United win on Tuesday night at Ewood Park the fourth round FA Cup match will be 3pm on Saturday 26 January, rather than be moved for live TV coverage.
Watford Official Announcement:
‘The Hornets’ trip to either Newcastle or Blackburn in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round will be played on Saturday January 26 at 3pm.
Tickets will be priced at £10 for adults, with a concessionary price also available. Club coach travel will cost £10 per person.
The allocation available to travelling Watford fans will be at least 6,000, regardless of the opponent.
Further exact details and sales arrangements will follow in due course.
Watford have been drawn away to either Newcastle United or Blackburn Rovers in the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The two sides are set for a replay at Ewood Park on Tuesday January 15, having drawn the initial tie 1-1 at St James’ Park on Saturday.
The fourth round fixture will be played over the weekend of January 25-28.’
