The feeling inside St James' Park these days is dismal at best ... pathetic at worst.

Every TV shot has "Sports Direct" somewhere in the frame, and even the famous Newcastle crest over the tunnel has been changed to show the Sports Direct logo!
Can you imagine the "This Is Anfield" sign at Liverpool being replaced with "Pound Shop"?
Charnley had been the football secretary at Newcastle (having been appointed as a director in 2008) and he is expected to make the alleged 14,000 season ticket holders ready to jump ship change their mind.
Charnley takes the role vacated last summer by Derek Llambias, who resigned following the appointment of Joe Kinnear as director of football.
Kinnear was criticised after failing to secure any permanent signings in last summer's transfer window and he resigned in February.
Charnley is expected to have a key role in player recruitment, and his opening words were so important to give the supporters HOPE that THIS is the way forward.
It has been a tough few weeks for Newcastle, who sit ninth in the Barclays Premier League but have been abysmal of late.
Charnley believes the club is in a great position and he said: "It is a real honour to be confirmed as managing director.
"I have been with the club for almost 15 years and have seen a great many changes in my time here.
"The club has never been in such a stable and healthy financial position, which gives us the best possible platform from which to grow.
"I am confident that, with our dedicated, hard-working and loyal employees, together with Alan Pardew and his backroom staff, we will progress the club, both on and off the field over the coming years.
"Our immediate priority of course is to finish this season as strongly as possible.
"Our minimum target for this campaign was a top-10 finish, but I can assure our supporters that everyone at Newcastle United will do their utmost to ensure the club finishes in the highest league position it can.
"This club is financially strong and there is money to spend if the deal is right and we are confident a player can add quality to the squad.
"We plan to sign one or two players each season."
Fans want an Alan Shearer, and although Michael Owen was a disaster, the club BACKED the manager at the time.
We want STAR players, not Ashley bragging he has made a £15m profit on Yohan Cabaye.
This is the Premier League - you spend or you die!
Ashley has the clout to make Newcastle a top European club, he is worth £2.7 billion!
But Newcastle Utd means nothing to him, an advert for his shops, and nothing more.
We won't progress under him, and we all know that.
As for passion, he gives NUFC 1% ... the fans give it 100% ... and that is a bridge that will NEVER be built.
We move on WHEN Ashley goes and he takes his crap manager with him.
