The 35-year-old had a seemingly good goal ruled out when the two sides met earlier in the season. Shearer and his team-mates will make a return visit for the televised game on November 30 but he is adamant they will take no baggage.
Shearer: "I don't think it's a case of us owing them one after what happened in the league game the other week. What happened that day is gone now, it's history. It is a tough draw for us, there's no doubt about that. They are flying at the moment, they are right up there in the league and are full of confidence.
"I'd be lying to you if I said the start they have made to the season hasn't surprised me. If they are honest, I think they will have been surprised themselves.
