Why Have So Many Got It In For Kinnear?

Last updated : 16 November 2008 By Footy Mad - Editor
Having given praise to Mike Ashley and Dennis Wise, he is obviously DESPERATE for work ... and he sees that "work" being St James' Park.

Ashley has left the sinking ship, and I'd be surprised if we ever see him again on Tyneside, while Wise probably doesn't even know where Newcastle is on the map!

But one Newcastle-Mad message board poster wants to know the question: "Why have so many got it in for Kinnear?"

A Toon fan ran to the dugout on Saturday to tell Kinnear exactly what he thought of him, and was taken away by three stewards.

So here are the comments from our messageboard ...

He came in and whether by intention or not, took the attention of the players and they have started to perform, ok so we didn't win at fulham, they have the best home record in the league apart from manure.
Yeah, we played absolutely shoite today but who doesn't play crap now and then. What about the Man City, West Brom, Everton and Aston Villa games?
Come on man, we're even scoring goals, we haven't failed to score in eleven now and more often than not net two each game. We've got a canny run going although we do face Chelsea, but give him a chance, I mean he's hardly walked into job of the year has he?
For what its worth, I reckon he's doin a pretty decent job and should be given a bit more of a chance by some of our fans.

He's not putting our best players on the pitch when it counts. Also some of our first half performances, more recently today, have been shocking. It's a worrying trend.

Because he isn't the man to take us forward
Is he
IS HE?

no clowes, he isn't the man to take us forward but he was the only man to have the balls for the job (for whatever reason) and he's doing a reasonable job
Admitted, some of his team selections have raised doubt, but some of dufs performances have been inspiring and if he trains the same then he should gt the nod over zoggs

JFK`s substitutions have been very poor. Against Man City when we were very tired and needed to close the game down he leaves 2 strikers on, instead of packing the midfield or putting on a defender. Against the scum he gave Barton 5 minutes or so when we needed something to happen, surely not enough time to influence a game. Against Fulham he takes off Jonas when were losing 2-1.
Make your own mind up

He took Gutierrez off the pitch and got booed by 50,000 people for doing it...and do you know what, the 50,000 people in the stand were right to boo. The ****hole got it wrong again...like he did with Cacapa at Fulham. The bloke was on the managerial scrapheap for 4 years...he must feel like he's won the lottery. At least it won't last and the knacker will be out soon...the fans in the ground will DEMAND it.

There was a bloke that ran on the pitch today and was heading for the bench...I can only assume it was to give JFK some much needed advice, but he was taken down by the stewards en route!

So who do you think we'll get instead?
Because it won't be anybody atall deccent, probs worse than him.
No one half deccent will come in on a short contract knowing they might be kicked out very quickly, knowing the fans hate the owner.
Well in my opinion anyway.

With the whole situation going on at the club you would never get anybody decent...hence why we have JFK in the first place!
He was on the managerial scrapheap for 4 years! The bloke probably can't believe his luck...he's literally won the lottery! It's no surprise the whole world laughed at us when that muppet was appointed!
Edit - To be fair only half the world laughed, the other half said "Eh? NUFC you are taking the p!ss aren't you?" Sadly, they weren't

jk left it to late .
at home ,need the points ,wigan down to 10 men .
the players made it happen when he put the right formation on the pitch ,we missed several other chances after the subtitution ,s,.
we new we would have to get at wigan especially when they didnt have hesky and zaki playing ,but we didnt ,when we did it was to late in the game.

I really cant see how that was Jks fault. I thought he got it right. The team were poor in the first half, he gave them a talking to and as a result were much better in the second half.
Of his two substitutions, one scored the first, the other set up the second. If Duff had cleared the ball like he shouldve we wouldve won the game.

its not often i agree with heve but i do here

JFK cost us the points yesterday by leaving it so late to bring Charlie & MO on

I can't understand why he is so adverse to subbing Duff. He should have been replaced for the Zog, instead of Jonas, who is a much more threatening winger than Duff!
Pleased he gave Bassong a runout though!! :D

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
so now your saying jk should of started with zoggs, guthrie and owen?
in place of who?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The lad that ran on the pitch to have ago at Kinnear's substitutions was sat directly in front of me one minute the next he was right up to the dugout, there was'nt a single Newcastle player who would of beat him for pace yesterday.

Jonny_Rubber
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i'm sorry but the lad that did it wants to give himself a good slap.
and should be rightly banned

I don't agree with his actions, but as I said he did show great pace, passion and interest.Qualities sadly lacking from most of our team yesterday.
