Newcastle picked up a massive win over Burnley in the Premier League last night.

First half goals from Fabian Schar and Sean Longstaff handed the Magpies their second win in four days.

Midfielder Sean Longstaff put in another solid display for his side. Meanwhile, January signing Miguel Almiron continues to adapt to the Premier League.

However, Ayoze Perez’ display was a bit disappointing last night. The Spaniard seemed to lack conviction and he was wasteful.

In other words - back to his usual self!

He has taken stick this season from his own fans, but sticking his fingers in his ears as a goal celebratioin (as though to say "You aren't booing me now!") has not won over the doubters.

The home fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the attacker’s display and some of the reactions were "cutting" to say the least.

Perez is a player Rafa has faith in ... but there are a lot of supporters out there yet to be won over.
