Apparently Debuchy and Loic Remy are injured ... although many feel the pair are having a nice little holiday before they travel to Brazil with France.
Debuchy, 28, signed a five-and-a-half year deal with the Magpies when he moved from Lille in January 2013.
However, even before seeing his friend and former Newcastle teammate Yohan Cabaye move to PSG in January, the France international full-back had reportedly been in the sights of the Ligue 1 champions.
"I'm still under contract with Newcastle," he said. "We'll see after the World Cup, but you never know what life is going to bring.
"PSG is a huge club. I would like to go there during my career, but we're not at that stage yet."
