What Does The Future Hold For Dyer?

Having seen yet another return from injury last a matter of minutes, many are questioning the future of Kieron Dyer. Obviously no-one would question the player's commitment to Newcastle, after all he has just signed a new four-year contract, but his hamstring problems seem never-ending.
Graeme Souness said back in May he was going to build his team around Dyer, although he said the same about JJ last month ... and Michael Owen this week. But JJ has got his wish and moved to pastures new and Souness is not in any position to build 'anything' around Dyer apart from a walking frame.
He has been to Germany seeking an answer but he is no further forward as he was, supposedly, right for the Manchester United match but said he knew from the first few seconds he wasn't going to last the first half.
Where does Dyer go from here? It looks like another long road back.
