Well Bolton ... Are You Missing Sam Yet?

Bolton have lost all three Premier League fixtures under new boss Sammy Lee, who took over once Sam Allardyce resigned at the end of last season before moving to Newcastle.

The Bolton chairman has fought a war of words with Allardyce saying Bolton will "only get better" without the man who has transformed Newcastle.

Speculation surrounds the future of Nicolas Anelka, Bolton's other high-profile forward, who looks set for Man Utd. And Bolton striker El-Hadji Diouf has told Bolton to sign five quality players - or let him leave for a club with Champions League ambitions.

The Senegal international claimed five clubs were keen to sign him but that Wanderers were over-valuing him with a £10million price tag.

He named UEFA Cup hopefuls Spurs, Scottish champions Celtic and French champions Lyon as three who wanted to prise him away from the Premier League's basement club.

He said: "I have five clubs who want me but I don't want to go for going's sake. I want to go to somewhere where I will be happy.

"And Bolton want a lot of money for me. They are asking for £10million. If I want to go I have to talk to my president and my manager.

"If I go I want to play for a bigger club. I want to play in the Champions League or with a club that wants to be there next season."
