Man-for-man can you tell me how many Sunderland or Fulham players would walk into our team? Yet we came away with nothing from the Stadium Of Sh*** and Craven Cottage.
And Nicky Butt admits the players are under performing ... and that HAS to change.
Nicky Butt: "I don't want to say that we're too good to go down - it might bring a bit of bad luck to say. But you look around the changing room at the quality of the players we've got - we should be getting a result against Fulham but we haven't got one.
"We've proved nothing yet. We've got to prove that we're too good to go down on Saturday against Wigan.
"You look at the results we've had - we've been up and down, we've had a few good ones and a few bad ones. That's just Newcastle United for you - it's been going on longer than I've been here and it seems to be just
one of those things that happens at this club.
"But it has got to stop. We need to try to get consistency from somewhere so we can move away from that bottom three."
