Villains – part two

Inter-continental incompetence
Our favourite official was flown out to Cairo to referee the prestigious Ahly versus Zamalek derby game that finished 2-2.

The BBC’s report on the game contained the following passage:

"He (Zamalek's Brazilian manager Carlos Roberto Capral) was very critical of the officiating of English Premier League referee Uriah Rennie, who handled the match."

Now if anyone from Egypt’s FA had bothered to ask us we could have warned them.

Meanwhile Marcelino has found himself a new club, Spanish Division Two outfit Polideportivo Ejido and ex-Southampton thug Tahar El Khalej has signed for Charlton.
