Upson For Toon? Rubbish!

Today we read: "Joe Kinnear wants to make West Ham's Matthew Upson his first signing at Newcastle United and there is quiet confidence at St James' Park that, with West Ham facing financial difficulties, Newcastle will be able to prise the 29-year-old England centre-back away from Upton Park."
Kinnear is after a left-back and central midfield player.
Upson is neither.
And after the West Ham player put in a decent performance for England recently, he must have bigger fish to fry and joining us! A club that is going to struggle to get ANYONE to sign with Mike Ashley and Dennis Wise pulling the strings.
