The on-going compensation wrangle involving Charles N’Zogbia has today been resolved.

We will pay a fee in the region of £60,000 for the teenager who has already made one brief first team appearance during John Carver’s sole game in charge.

A club spokesman said, ‘Newcastle United today received notification from FIFA of the decision reached by the dispute resolution chamber in the case of the player Charles N'Zogbia.’

‘The outcome is that the player is entitled to be registered for Newcastle United and that he can resume playing with immediate effect.

Le Havre is entitled to training compensation from the club in accordance with the figures set out in FIFA's regulations for the status and transfer of players. All other claims made by Le Havre were rejected’.
