Which brings us nicely onto our own Jose Enrique, another Spaniard, but one with a bit backbone.
We gaven him a lot of stick on this site last season when he seemed out of his depth in the Premiership, and tended to wander out of position a little too often for our own good.
But the Mackems offered him a return to the Premiership and he laughed it off with the contempt it deserved.
He wasn't happy about relegation, but he didn't turn his back on the Championship like the other turds who got us relegated in the first place (Michael Owen is top of the list on that score).
Enrique has been a credit this season ... both to himself and the club.
As for Torres ... he'll off like a shot given the first opportunity.
