Toon Websites Lead The Way

Toon Army-based website www.TalkOfTheTyne.net has won yet another award, and are growing from strength to strength having left the London network Rivals, which was once the leader in fanzine-based websites.

Although Rivals continue with their own version of TOTT, quality rises to the top, and Rivals' watered down version is hardly worth a place in cyberspace these days.

Match reports? What are those? Do Newcastle play games? And the site has been left behind in the starting blocks as others continue to show the nation how it is done.

Tony Taylor (www.TalkOfTheTyne.net): "Newcastle have the best websites in the country, make no mistake about it. NUFC.com continues to be the site every Toon fan looks to for info, and rightly so. It is run by Toon fans - for Toon fans, and is a credit to the supporters.

"But there others not that far behind: NewcastleUnited-mad, Tyne Talk, Vital Football-Newcastle, and others that are well worth a look."
