Terry McDermott and Reserve team coach Adam Sadler went to watch the Spanish outfit in action in their 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns at the weekend.

The Chronicle claims "Kevin Keegan was very impressed with two of the Real Mallorca side after last week's Summer Cup competition in Palma.

"Keegan rushed through his post-match Press conference after United had been beaten 1-0 by Hertha Berlin on the Friday night so that he could watch as much as possible of the Real Mallorca-Hannover game which followed."
