What's The Ground Like?
The ground has been transformed with the building of three new stands in the mid 1990's. Both ends of the ground and one side have been re-developed. The ends are good sized two tiered stands, which are virtually identical. One of these ends, the Chadwick Stand is given to away supporters. There are also electric scoreboards placed on the roof of each end. The East Stand on one side of the pitch is also a relatively new stand, that is similar in height to the two ends. This stand however, does not run the full length of the pitch. Opposite is the older Main Stand, which dates back to the early 1960's. It is smaller than the other stands and has a fair number of supporting pillars which could obstruct your view. The stadium has unusual looking floodlights protruding from the roofs of the two side stands.
What Is It Like For Visiting Supporters?
Away fans are housed in the Chadwick Stand at one end of the pitch. The facilities and views from this stand are generally very good, although I have had some fans comment that the leg room is a little tight. David Tennant a visiting St Mirren supporter adds; 'a great ground to visit, with friendly supporters, some good pubs and also don't forget to sample their legendary pies'.
Where To Drink?
Gordon Duff recommends the Howard Arms, in Glencairn Square, which is only a few minutes walk away from the ground. Otherwise, the ground is not that far from the town centre where there are plenty of bars to be found.
How To Get There By Car & Where To Park
From the A71, take the A759 towards Kilmarnock. Eventually the ground will appear on your left. Turn left off the A735 into South Hamilton Road and left again into Rugby Road for the ground. The ground is quite well signposted around the town. Street parking.
By Train
Kilmarnock Station is principally served by trains from Glasgow. The ground is around about 15-20 minute walk away from the station. Emerging from the train station you will find yourself at the top of John Finnie Street. Walk sown this street against the flow of one way traffic. At the traffic lights at the bottom of the street (by the Sheriff Court) turn right into Portland Road. Take the second left at the traffic lights into South Hamilton Street and proceed to first right turn into Rugby Road and the ground.

Only 5% Wanted Pardew - What's The Percentage Now? PLEASE VOTE
Mike Ashley stunned us all ... and I mean ALL ... when he sacked Chris Hughton and brought in Alan Pardew.
Apparently, Ashley knows Pardew from a London casino the pair used to visit, and the former West Ham boss talked his way into the job.
At the time the appointment was made, ourselves (NU-MAD) and the Chronicle held a poll to ask the Newcastle fans if they were happy with the new manager.
Both polls showed only 5% of Toon fans were happy, and if the truth was known, I'd say 3% of those were Mackems gatecrashing the voting!
So ... with Pardew two and half years into the job ... has he turned the voting around? Has he won you over?
We were still in the relegation dog-fight until Swansea won at Wigan a week before the season ended, and there was growing concern after heavy home defeats to Sunderland and Liverpool.
Pardew gave his excuses, saying his squad was "wafer thin and too small to tackle a long season".
Yet on Thursday - having lost Steve Harper, Danny Simpson, James Perch and Dan Gosling on the way to Crystal Palace (FOUR PLAYERS LESS) he said: "I'm not too concerned because we have a big squad".
Confused? We certainly were.
