Already, Newcastle have signed Yohan Cabaye, Sylvain Marveaux and Demba Ba, and now they are reportedly keen to sign Chelsea youngster Daniel Sturridge on loan next season.
Sturridge is apparently eager for first-team football next season, and has not received any assurances about his position at Stamford Bridge as Didier Drogba, Fernando Torres and Nicolas Anelka are established in the first-team.
Newcastle are understood to want to take Sturridge on loan and offer him the No.9 shirt, but Bolton are also hopeful of luring their loan star from last season back to the Reebok Stadium.
