The Newcastle boss is reportedly targeting a move for Barcelona's Ludovic Giuly, with the Frenchman resigned to leaving the Nou Camp.Giuly, 30, is set to leave Catalonia this summer after becoming disilluisoned at his lack of first-team football with his last appearance coming in the 1-0 Champions League win at Liverpool in March.
The Frenchman, who is comfortable playing off a central striker or across the midfield is a target for Marseille, Monaco, Fiorentina and Juventus, but his agent Sebastien Riera told the Daily Mirror: "Ludo is aware of Newcastle's interest."
